Currently a teaching assistant at EPFL (2 master level courses in physics). 3 years of tutoring experience of high school students in mathematics, physics and English (while studying at Cambridge, UK and a US-style private university) and countless occasions helping out fellow university students. Roughly familiar with the SAT system, have quite a lot of material and took the IELTS exam myself. My teaching philosophy is oriented towards understanding and providing motivation, rather than maximizing test scores by practicing patterns. I strongly believe that having a strong basis and actually enjoying maths, physics or a language is way more important in the future than any test score. I also have experience with university applications (US, UK and others; I consult for a company providing help for high school students in their last year applying to top universities in the world).
